Initial Appointment

We recommend you plan to arrive for your treatment at least 10 minutes before your first session to fill out your intake form in advance of your scheduled appointment to ensure you receive your full massage time, and 5 minutes before any subsequent session. We have a comfy reception room with a coffee, hot chocolate, herbal tea, and water bar so come on in ... relax and chill out before your treatment and make the most of your “me” time.

 

We understand that life is busy, and we try to be as flexible and accommodating to your needs as we can. However, we do have some policies that may apply in the case of lateness, short-notice cancellation, or no shows.

No Show & Cancellation Policy

Please keep your commitment and be considerate of others when you book your appointment. This is time that is set aside specifically for you. Missed appointments prevent us from accommodating our other clients and as a small business, we only get paid when we deliver a service. Therefore, we request that you call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. When you are unable to keep your appointment and we receive no notification, you will be required to pay 50% cost of the treatment as booked. Please note that if you simply do not show up to your appointment, or if you cancel at very short notice, your therapist may also require pre-payment of future appointments and/or have you keep a credit card on file.

 

If an emergency situation arises, please let us know so that we can treat your specific situation with personal attention. We recognize that there are circumstances that are out of your control (sudden illness, family emergencies, etc.) and your therapist may make an exception to the above policies on those rare occasions.

 

Missed appointment fees can NOT be direct billed.  We can however, give you a payment receipt once it’s paid, for the service you have cancelled or missed and you are welcome to submit it to your insurance provider.

 

Late Arrivals

Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you and our other clients. Unfortunately, we cannot provide late arrivals with an extension of their appointment by bumping other clients.

 

In special cases we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper advanced notification of your arrival.

 

Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session

 

If you are not present for your scheduled session during the first 15 minutes (unless having telephoned us you might be late), it will be construed by us that you are a “no-show”, and that time slot will automatically become available for someone else.

Direct Billing

Direct Billing is available to most major Insurance companies. Please note, it is the clients responsibility to check their coverage with insurance companies.

 

If your Insurance company is not listed, please let us know so that we are able to get direct billing set up for your insurance company to better accommodate you.
